PARTICIPANT HIGHLIGHT – Matt Miller – 2015 PROGRAM
Undergraduate Matt Miller is helping researchers in the UGA College of Engineering design sensors that will help surgeons guide catheters with more precision during heart catheterization procedures. A senior at the University of California, Berkeley, Matt is also working on an imaging device that would be attached to heart catheters to provide clearer images to surgeons. Matt is one of ten promising scholars from across the U.S. selected to participate in the UGA College of Engineering’s Nanotechnology and Biomedicine Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) this summer.
