PARTICIPANT HIGHLIGHT – Morgan DaSilva – 2016 PROGRAM

University of Connecticut student Morgan DaSilva has been conducting research this summer in our Medical Robotics Lab as part of UGA’s Nanotechnology and Biomedicine Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program. Morgan’s helping the lab develop a portable device capable of monitoring variations in blood volumes using magnetohydrodynamic voltages. The device can be used to assess tissue health, monitor patient rehabilitation, and track the progression of wound healing.
