PARTICIPANT HIGHLIGHT – JUHI MANCHA – 2018 PROGRAM
At the University of Georgia College of Engineering, we’re committed to connecting students to next-generation research that improves lives. Juhi Mancha, a third-year biological engineering student, took advantage of our Nanotechnology and Biomedicine REU program this summer to help develop an antibacterial biomaterial that uses nitric oxide to promote wound healing.
“I decided to major in biological engineering because I fell in love with my science classes and the College of Engineering at UGA. I enjoyed learning how to challenge my thinking in my engineering classes and apply what I learned in the science field.”
