PARTICIPANT HIGHLIGHT – Savannah Dale – 2017 PROGRAM
We’ve been honored to host some amazing students this summer during our Nanotechnology and Biomedicine REU (Research Experiences for Undergraduates) program. Savannah Dale, a bio-engineering major at Clemson University, has been conducting research in Dr. Peter Kner’s lab. She’s helped develop high-resolution microscopy techniques to capture images of brain signals in the embryos of zebrafish. The project is designed to help scientists gain a better understanding of signaling in the human brain.
