PARTICIPANT HIGHLIGHT – Valerie Helms – 2015 PROGRAM
Valerie Helms was one of the incredibly talented students who participated in the UGA College of Engineering’s Nanotechnology and Biomedical Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program this summer. Valerie, a rising senior student at Wingate University, worked with UGA researchers to look into the physiological functions of NO gas for the regeneration of liver cells.
